Visual Arts Lecturer Creates ‘The art exhibit we all need right now’

The creativity of a child and fond memories of building forts during childhood are some of the inspirations behind “Hideout,” a recent installation at the Boston Children’s Museum by Amy Archambault ’08, lecturer in the visual arts department and Millard studio supervisor at the College of the Holy Cross. Children are invited to crawl into and play in “Hideout,” which features a mass of chairs, blankets, and cushions, and according to an article by The Boston Globe, Archambault hopes “younger visitors will be inspired to get cracking on their own architectural masterpieces.
